Room 21 Grade 5 – June 1, 2010 – August 14, 2010
School can be very exciting! It can be as exciting as finally saying “ It’s Over”! School is out for the Summer!
The 4TH/5TH grade field day was held Thursday morning 5/27/10, at Bud Walker Park, from 8:30 – 10:45. It was a great way to close out the 2009-2010 school year!
The 5TH grade students all kept the “Dendrites Growing”! Parents, thank you for assisting your child prepare for each school day. After 8:00 p.m. for video games, is now okay, have fun! REM sleep is very important to the success of your child’s education If your child is going to attend summer school, please enforce the rule again..
Thank you, Parents/Guardians, Administration, and team teachers for a remarkable year.
I would like to offer my Congratulations to the graduating Class of 2010, and to those of you that were my former students. I wish you all the best.

Fines will be accessed for those that have books still out. Please go to the high school office to take care of any fines during the summer.
Parents/guardians continue to establish the out of the classroom reading program, by having your child read during the summer months. Our local library has many books they need to be read, also the library has the best climate in town and computers are available for your use.
I would like to thank all of you that took advantage of our open door policy and came to school with your child. We enjoyed having you back in the 5th grade.
Here are seven traits of good character we stress in our classroom: Caring, Respect, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Citizenship, and Courage. Showing good character is important. By behaving the right way in school, and in the community, we encourage each other to be successful, for ourselves, and for our parents/guardians.
Hi-lighters, Dry Erase Markers, and lots of Pencils will be needed next year. Reload your pencil box. >
Mrs. Belskis’s class and ours closed out the year with partners reading to each other on Wednesday, 5/26/10. We had a great time and thank our second grade partners for being our reading buddies.
Have a fantastic summer! Go Fishing, read a book, or catch a baseball game. I hope to see all of you in August. I would like to thank all my students and their parents for a fantastic school year.
