English 9 & 11 and Drama
I earned my BA in English at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and my teaching degree from Caldwell College in New Jersey. Since then I have had the chance to teach English in New Jersey, Nevada and South Korea. It has been rewarding to work with my classes as they discover both practical and profound aspects of language. Students continually amaze me with their insight, creativity and growth. I am excited to join the learning community at Ajo High School this year.
Teaching and learning naturally go together. I hope I never stop learning new things and ways of thinking. So in my spare time I like to read, listen to music and check out cool art of all kinds. I also value the lessons I learn from the stories of people I meet and come to know.
