Note: An assignment completed as instructed without errors receives an "A" with 95 points. Extra effort is required to earn 96-100 points.
Late Assignments:
Late assignments are accepted, however a late penalty may be assessed. An off-task activity during the time between the issue date of an assignment and the date a late assignment is turned in doubles the late penalty. The late penalty is 2/3 of a letter grade. Thus, an "A" assignment turned in late is marked "B+" and if an off task penalty is applied, the mark is, in this example, "B-". Teacher reserves the right to modify these policies.
Conferences:
Parent conferences may be arranged by calling the School office, 520-387-7601. Students may request extra assistance from Mr. Powell at any mutually agreeable time.
