Track Team Members: Please turn in your Bags & CLEAN Uniforms to Coach Williams on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 8:30 AM in front of the Gym.

All Students: Wednesday May 14, 2008 is Early Release with High School dismissed at 12:40PM and K-8 dismissed at 1:22PM

Students & Staff: The Media Center, National Honor Society, and Arizona Youth Partnership would like to invite you on the RIF Night tonight, Tuesday, May 13 at 5:30-7:00 pm.

All Students: 8th grade promotion will be held on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 6:00PM in the Auditorium.

All Students: 12th Grade Graduation is Thursday May 22, 2008 at 7:00PM in the auditorium. The graduation announcements printed by Jostens listed the incorrect time.

Football Players: Football meeting Tuesday, May 13th at 3:15 in the AVID room (Room 2) for anyone interested in playing football next season. Anyone planning on playing is expected to be there.

All Students & Staff: The Alumni game will be held Friday May 16. The boys game will be at 6:00 and the girls will play at 7:00. Come and watch our esteemed alumni take on our Varsity Red Raider Basketball Teams. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the school teams.

Basketball players: Gym time available for practice Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 for any of the players participating in the Alumni Game.

This year's Grad Night is Survivor. May 22nd from 10:30pm-5:00am. Prizes for underclassmen throughout the night and Grand prizes for Seniors. Tickets on sale now for $12. Tickets are available from Ms. Garcia or the AzYP office.

Football Players: Any football players interested in attending football camps this summer, see Coach McGoldrick ASAP!!

KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP!

AJO, AZ, May 1, 2008: Kindergarten registration for the 2008/2009 school year, also known as Kindergarten Round Up will be Thursday May 8, 2008 from 12:00PM-2:30PM in the Ajo Schools teachers’ lounge. Ajo Elementary School’s kindergarten teachers, Margarita Martinez and Mary Helen Yanez will be in attendance along with the school health nurse, Kari Sanchez. To register their kindergarten children, parents will need to bring a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, the Immunization records, and guardianship papers if the child is not living with their parent(s). (Including custody papers and/or power of attorney papers) If parents are unable to attend on that day, there are registration packets available in the Principal’s Office. Students attending kindergarten next year should be five years of age by the 30th of August 2008. For more information please call the school office at 520-387-7602.
