International Day of Peace Festival this Friday, September 19. Come for the fun on campus followed by the parade to the Curley School. Itís always a great time Ė donít miss it!
Shout Out to the Custodians who valued the life of the Colorado River Toad on campus and relocated it. Red Raiders, we strive to be caring and kind with each other and with all wildlife. When you see wildlife on campus, remember how you want to be treated. If you are concerned that an animal could be dangerous, tell an adult!
All junior high football players need to report to Mr. Beharieís room every night after school for study hall.
ATHLETES! Any student-athlete put in Academic Support for any amount of time on a game day becomes ineligible for play that day. We expect our student-athletes to be role models and leaders on campus!
If you are a junior or senior wishing to take the ACT here on campus on October 25th, the deadline to sign up is on Friday. You sign up online. If you need assistance, you can come to Ms. Venturellaís extended office hours. They will be held in the art room Thursday before school from 7:40 to 8:00 and after school until 3:30 or by appointment.
Also! There is a field trip to the Greater Phoenix National College Fair on Sunday September 28th. This is a really fun opportunity to meet admission representatives from many different colleges! Sign up and permission slips are available before school in the art room or room three and after school in the art room. See Ms. Venturella for details.
Note from Dr. Dooley on our NEW DRINKING FOUNTAINS! We have nice, new drinking fountains on Wings 1,2,and 3. Please take good care of them so we can have good fountains for a long time. Remember, Red Raiders show RESPECT for people and property!
Earn cash for your school. Buy your favorite Box Top products, clip the Box Tops from each package and bring them to school. We have a collection box in the school office and also at Olsenís. For each Box Top you collect youíll help our school buy the things we need the most. Last year we collected over $400.00 that we used to buy a drinking fountain for the Media Center and one for the Elementary. So donít forget to clip all the Box Tops you can!
