Job Description:
Teaching assistants are needed for both the elementary and secondary levels. You will be part of the classroom team; working with a certified teacher and other teaching assistants to assist with the overall classroom routine, which includes: language/communication skills, academic instruction, behavior management, self-help and social skills. Job Description:
The successful candidate will need to have or be qualified to become emergency certified in Arizona as a substitute teacher. Candidates must have at least 60 college credit hours to achieve emergency certification, and a bachelor s degree to achieve full certification. Candidates must be cleared through a state background check, work well with others, and enjoy interaction with youth.
Other:
Base salaries begin at $68.00 per day with an emergency certificate, and $73.00 per day fully credentialed.
