In this lesson, the students reviewed thier warm and cool colors as well as the wax resist technique. The students learned how to draw a koi fish using an oval. They also learned a bit about Japanese culture, including the phrase "Konnichiwa", which literally means "good afternoon". The students reviewed the collage technique of ripping paper to create waves and lily pads.
