Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means "circle". Mandalas are found in religions such as Buddism, Hinduism and Navajo sand paintings. In this lesson, students were asked to make a person mandala. Their mandala needed to include at least three symbols personal to them, a form of symmetry, and a key or legend.
