Education: B. S. Secondary Education, English major, P. E. minor from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, South Dakota 1986; M. Ed. from University of Phoenix 1996.
Professional: English teacher, Guidance Counselor, Coach in Wickenburg, Az. from 1990 – 2005. Won 5 straight conference titles from 1999 – 2003 as Head Football Coach at Wickenburg H. S. Advanced to State Semi-finals twice and made playoffs all 7 years while at Wickenburg. Was named 3A West Coach of the Year in 1999 and 2003. As Head Baseball Coach, made playoffs 5 times in 8 years and upset #1 seeds 3 times in playoffs. Currently K-12 Guidance Counselor and Head Football Coach at Ajo H. S. Last season’s football squad broke a 3 year losing streak and posted a .500 record.
Personal: Daughter, Kelly, 24, in Ohio National Guard and studying for her Master’s in Education. Son, Ryan, will be a freshman at Wickenburg H. S. this fall.
