The Ajo Elementary School and Ajo High School are eligible to receive tax credit donations from individual taxpayers or taxpayers filing jointly. The students and staff of Ajo Schools are working hard academically and were just awarded a B letter grade in both the elementary and high school, from the AZ Department of Education. Studies have shown that students involved in extracurricular activities often show improved grades, higher educational aspirations, increased college enrollment, and reduced absenteeism.
Areas to donate in the Ajo Schools include elementary field trips, high school college visits, sports programs, including Ajo High School’s 3x cheer state champions and the 2024 softball division I state runners-up, fees associated with PSAT/ACT/SAT testing, AP Classes, and student CPR/First Aid.
