Online Classes Through Winter Break

Due to the increased number of COVID cases across the state, county, and our school it is necessary that teachers provide classes online only until winter break. There will be no on-campus PreK, special education, or study/work classes until after winter break.

The cafeteria will be open during this time and to-go meals will still be available for pick-up only.

Both the school office (520) 387-7602 and the district office (520) 387-5618 will be open during this time on a fluid schedule. Call or email before arriving. For more information, please view the letter from Mr. Edlund.

Insecticide Notice

Per AZ Law 15-152 and Ajo School District Policy EBAA, we must notify students and staff of the administering of insecticides on the school campus. Northwest Exterminating will be administering insecticides to the gym locker room for termites on December 7, 2020. For more information please refer to the notice or call the district office at (520) 387-5618.

New Mask Mandate

The State of Arizona Department of Health and Safety recently issued a new mask mandate for schools across the state. This new mandate will impact our pre-K students and require your child to wear a mask at school.

A part of the mandate reads as follows:

Masks should not be worn by children under the age of two or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

If you have any questions or need a mask for your child, please feel free to contact the school office at (520) 387-7602.
