  • At least three years successful K–8 teaching or administrative experience

Position: Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) Program Coordinator

Job Description & Qualifications: The purpose of the Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) Program Coordinator position is to provide JAG Participants with academic support, deliver cohort-specific JAG Curriculum, facilitate the Career Association (the club within the class and program) and provide guidance on career, future planning, and personal issues.

This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: In addition to teaching two teaching courses, the JAG program coordinator provides intervention services, facilitates a club, and provides job development and placement services for students and graduates from the year prior.

Qualifications:

  • Arizona teaching certificate or qualified to obtain an Arizona certificate

Position: Substitute Teachers [continuous opening]

Job Description: Substitute teachers educate students by faithfully executing the lesson plans that the regular classroom teacher prepares.

Candidates must:

Candidates with a high school diploma, GED, or associate degree can obtain an emergency substitute certificate, renewable annually. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree can qualify for a permanent substitute certificate.

Compensation: Substitutes earn $100.00 per day (4+ hours).

Position: Part-Time/Auxiliary Bus Driver

Job Description & Qualifications: The Ajo Unified School District is looking for individuals with a CDL who is willing to obtain a student endorsement from the Arizona MVD and Arizona Department of Safety. The successful applicant will be required to take yearly mandatory drug and alcohol screening and random screenings throughout the year.

Candidates must:

  • Fill out a classified application and submit it to our district office.
  • Pass an extensive IVP fingerprint background check to supervise students.
  • Have or be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license and a bus driver number.
